In this meeting, members of Poli Finance were able to understand, in more depth, how an M&A deal is structured. From the daily routine of the bank, with the development of sector analysis materials and pitchbooks, to the sending of the commercial proposal and signing of the engagement letter. Then, some pitchbook formats and the timeline of a deal - from prospecting to closing - were discussed in a base scenario. To materialize these topics, the case of Hering’s acquisition by Grupo Soma was presented.
