Polytechnics in the Market
Seeking to encourage greater insertion of women in the financial market, we promote several initiatives to engage the female audience and offer opportunities to approach the market. Among these projects, we highlight Politécnicas no Mercado, a project held anually that promotes classes on basic market content and visits to renowned institutions for female Poli-USP students.

On Monday, May 14th, 2025, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of the "Politécnicas no Mercado" initiative on a visit to BNP Paribas, for an inspiring conversation with specialists from the Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Global Markets areas.
During the meeting, participants gained a better understanding of how these departments operate within a global bank, as well as how they are interconnected within the financial market ecosystem.
The exchange was enriched by testimonials from BNP Paribas professionals, who shared their career paths, challenges, and learnings, providing a concrete perspective on female representation in the sector and the many career possibilities available.
On Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, the participants of the "Politécnicas no Mercado" initiative had the opportunity to visit Advent International for a roundtable discussion on Private Equity.
During the meeting, the students learned more about how private equity funds operate, were introduced to successful Advent case studies, and gained a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the sector.
They also engaged directly with experienced professionals, who shared their career journeys in the financial market and offered valuable advice for those interested in pursuing a career in the field.
On Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of the "Politécnicas no Mercado" initiative on a visit to SPX Capital, in a meeting focused on the world of Public Equities.
During the conversation, the participants had the opportunity to learn more about the career path of one of the professionals in the field, understanding how he chose his career, what the day-to-day is like in the equities sector in Brazil, and receiving reading recommendations about the financial market. At the end, the group toured the asset manager’s office, getting a closer look at SPX’s work environment.
On Thursday, April 24th, 2025, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of "Politécnicas no Mercado" to UBS BB, where discussions revolved around the different areas within Investment Banking, career prospects, and opportunities for women in the job market.
Additionally, the session covered information about the bank itself and its joint venture with Banco do Brasil, which formed UBS BB.
On Friday, May 10th, 2024, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of Politécnicas no Mercado to Morgan Stanley to talk about Investment Banking.
During the visit, they were able to learn more about the Debt Capital Markets area, within Investment Banking, as well as understanding the career and presence of women in the market, based on a conversation with three women from Investment Banking, one of whom is a VP in the area.
On Saturday, May 4th, 2024, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of Politécnicas no Mercado for an In-Company at Itaú BBA to talk about careers in the market.
At the meeting, the girls were able to learn a little more about the bank, especially the Investment Banking area, and also about the careers and presence of women within Itaú BBA, through a conversation with women in key positions.
On Monday, April 29th, 2024, the participants of Politécnicas no Mercado had the opportunity to visit Vinci Partners for a round table discussion on Private Equity.
During the event, the girls learned about the Private Equity area, as well as having access to some of the company's investments and an overview of the ESG issue within Vinci.
On Wednesday, April 17th, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of Politécnicas no Mercado to Constellation Asset Management, one of Brazil's most traditional investment managers.
In the in-company, the girls were able to understand the structures of a career in asset management. In addition, the event included an institutional presentation of the company, as well as its investment theses, with the presence of one of the manager's women.

On Monday, May 6th, 2023, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of the first edition of "Politécnicas no Mercado" to BTG Pactual for a conversation about Investment Banking.
During the visit, they were able to learn more about how the area works inside the bank and also about the presence of women in the labor market, through a conversation with two women that work in Investment Banking.
On Saturday, May 27th, Poli Finance had the pleasure of taking the members of the first edition of "Politécnicas no Mercado" for an In-Company meeting at Itaú BBA.
At the meeting, the girls were able to learn a little more about the bank, especially about the structuring of Itaú's Asset, and also about the career and presence of women in the labor market.

On Wednesday, May 3, the participants of "Politécnicas no Mercado" had the opportunity to visit Warburg Pincus for a round of conversation about Private Equity.
During the event, the girls learned about the different investment cycles of the private equity market, Warburg Pincus' cases and the daily life in the financial market.
Poli Finance had the honor of receiving, on 04/19/2023, Zeina Latif, former chief economist of XP and former Secretary of Economic Development of the State of São Paulo, and Andrea Pinheiro, founding partner and former Managing Director of BR Partners, in another edition of "Poli Finance Convida".
The lecture focused on the female presence in the Financial Market and the Brazilian economic cycles and is available on Poli Finance's Youtube channel.
